Dana Patrick, MSW
4th grade ELA teacher

I cannot recommend Jennifer enough as a dyslexia specialist. Her approach is personal and student-centered, meeting learners exactly where they are and guiding them with care and expertise. She goes above and beyond to support each child and takes the time to celebrate their successes along the way. I have seen incredible growth in students who began their journey just after diagnosis and, with her guidance through the Neuhaus program, became confident and capable readers and learners. Beyond the academic progress, Jennifer’s work brings confidence and relief to families, knowing their child is understood, supported, and set up for success. Having worked closely with her for many years, I can confidently say she is an invaluable partner in helping students thrive.

Parent: Middle School Teen

Ms. Jennifer came into our lives in 2021 and has been there to support us in various ways since. She began first with our eldest daughter, who is now in seventh grade. She completed the Neuhaus program with her in about two years, always taking the time to support the whole child and tailor the program to help her best succeed. This time frame was impressive because she started out in person and then for the second half, she worked with her via zoom. I was hesitant that this wouldn’t be as effective. However, Ms. Jennifer did an excellent job at holding her attention and keeping her on task. She went above and beyond with stopping by every week to drop off a special treat and encouraging note. Our daughter is now an avid reader and literature is her favorite subject. I attribute this in part to Ms. Jennifer’s positive and intentional instruction method. Since then, she has always been willing to answer any questions we have, not just about our eldest, but two of our other children as well. She is affirming and kind and we have been so grateful to have her as part of our support system.”

Her students and their parents are fortunate to have her as part of their educational journey.

I remember meeting with Ms. Jennifer in the third grade and she let me beat on these African drums as we sounded out syllables of words with a rhythmic chant that made a boring task more fun. Fast forward to 2025 and I have graduated from high school this past year and it is pretty normal for me to be reading a book in my spare time. I really enjoy reading.  I am currently working on starting my own online business.

As a middle school student, I struggled to keep up in reading, and I was diagnosed with dyslexia. My parents hired Ms. Jennifer Fischbuch to teach a specialized program which improved my reading skills over time giving me confidence in my ability to learn. After high school, I pursued a vocational training program in aircraft maintenance, where I excelled and became a certified airplane mechanic and I have since launched my own business.

Parent-6th grade student

Our son was diagnosed with dyslexia in first grade. He struggled despite our placing him in a private schools that focused on phonics.  We hired Ms. Jennifer the summer before his 4th grade year and by the end of his 5th grade year, his reading scores on the MAP test had gone from the 50th percentile to the 90th percentile in reading.  Our son also enjoyed attending the field trips led by Ms. Jennifer to the Houston Zoo with other dyslexic students that she taught.
